Do you have a daughter, granddaughter, or niece who is graduating from high school this month or next, and will be going away to college in the fall? It's a scary time for everyone in the family for many reasons.
One of the scary reasons is, unfortunately, that young women aged 16-25 are the ones most likely to be raped. And the odds are that it will be by someone they know. Drinking may be involved, too.
Most girls won't report rape because they don't want to cause trouble, they're scared and embarrassed, they don't want to go through the police and legal stuff, or they may not even remember enough of what happened because they were drinking.
If they're attacked by a stranger, chances are greater of it being reported.
Either way, give your daughter, granddaughter or niece the strongest pepper spray available as a graduation gift or as a going away gift in the fall. She'll be able to carry it on her keychain at all times and she'll feel safer with it.
You'll feel better knowing she has it too.
It's amazing that we buy all kinds of gifts for our love one. However, we never think about buying our love ones a gift that may save their life. I agree, pepper spray makes a great gift.
